Amy was a graduate of Grove City Area High School in 1998. She enrolled in Nova Southeastern University to get her BS in elementary education. While she was a sports enthusiast, she felt a true desire to teach and was captivated by children. She completed her ME in Special Education from Waynesburg University in 2002. Her specialization was teaching children with autism spectrum disorders, as well as other neurological issues. Amy has a postgraduate certificate in personal fitness, which is recognized by ACE NETA & AFFA. Amy is a woman in business and an American certified fitness professional.
