Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy, is a musician, rapper and writer, best known for his hit single "One Night'. His actual name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is also known by the names of King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. Two mixtapes, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat" led him to become a household name. This wasn't his first attempt to sing. The first songs he recorded, 'One Night' (August 2015) and 'Minnesota (August 2015) were what earned him his first fame. Both of them were part of the debut EP (Extended play) named 'Summer songs. The music label roster currently includes 'Capital Records' as well as a  Quality Control Music and  Motown Records. Yachty has been working with prominent rappers like 'D.R.A.M. and 'Chance the Rapper,' among other artists. Yachty is also selling his own merchandise on his website. Lil Yatchy was a student at Pebblebrook High School and worked at McDonald's. It was here that he made friends with other hopeful producers and rappers. Yachty was attending Alabama State University to graduate but he dropped out after only two months. From his early years, Yachty was inspired by the music that was distinct and was a break from the norm. His father was the source of this inspiration who would share with him all sorts of different music in his early years. He took on the name "Yachty" and moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to New York in 2015 to pursue his dream of becoming a professional musician. He stayed with a close friend in New York and searched for opportunities to get into the music industry. He also stayed in touch with street fashion stars online and built a hefty following on Instagram. He collaborated with Burberry Perry, a producer and beatmaker. Later, he joined forces with K$upreme as his main collaborator. The group is referred to as  The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's bedroom studio. The first time he was successful was when Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his hit 'Minnesota'. The track "1Night" was Lil Yachty's first major smash. The track's video was put online and quickly became viral. The SoundCloud version of his song "One Night" was a viral hit The media flocked to the singer.
